As well as the usual range of taxi services for shopping, doctor appointments; church, school; work etc. both businesses’ offer an extensive night time service that normally centres on social activities in pubs, cinemas, nightclubs and restaurants. This can be either in small numbers or in larger groups. As well as this transport is provided for airports, concerts, stag or hen parties, horse or dog racing, football matches, or indeed weddings. Regular car and bus services are provided for school transport, and a wheelchair access service is provided with trained operatives. Call a Car provides a daily bus service from Monaghan town, to and from St Macartans College Monaghan, the local boy’s secondary school. Both businesses are involved in transportation for the Bawn and Latton Rural Transport Initiative, BALTI. This is a publicly funded scheme to help prevent rural isolation, particularly of the elderly. It allows elderly and less mobile people to avail of shopping trips, trips to the doctor, Post Office etc regularly.

We offer competitive rates to take large groups to activities like swimming. These are usually short trips. We also travel longer distances but usually with smaller groups. This might be for various types of day trips.
Services for GAA clubs.
We offer competitive rates for GAA clubs to take football teams to away matches. We also have buses available to take supporters to away matches in Croke Park or wherever the venue is.
